Transitioning to Idaho Core-Preparing Students for College/Career-Reg 1

This three day workshop will focus on the integrated nature of the Idaho Core Standards with a special emphasis on narrative text types (including poetry) and writing. Participants of all grade levels and all content areas will engage in activities that help them prepare lessons and a unit plan that is focused on the Idaho Core Standards at their grade level. This workshop is presented by the State Department of Education in partnership with Boise State Writing Project. It will focus on narrative writing. More details will be available at a later date.
